I think I played guitar on "Officer"... I played guitar on something,
and I think it was that. At least I hope so, as it's my favorite song of
hers. "Hero" was a little painful--it's about her very troubled and
difficult-to-love Viet Vet dad, who died not long before. Lots of
tears and painful silences in the writing room.
