I have to admit I'm not watching the news and I've begun to just skim articles from the paper. On his recent tour of Middle America Bush again demonstrated that he's gone off to see the wizard. He obviously believes all he need do is say 9/11 five times and click his heels and he can bomb any country he likes. Have we ever had a president so blatantly attempt to deceive us and our congress?
After all that has been revealed about Iraq, it's non-existent WMD's, the fact that they had nothing to do with 9/11 or supporting or harboring the terrorists of Al Qaeda, to have our president just days ago give a 30 minute speech in which he tied our situation in Iraq to 9/11 five times is... well...utterly obscene. He may as well have stood before the crowd dropped his trousers, defecated on the podium and wiped his ass with our flag. The man is a sham and a disgrace. His administration is completely corrupt and why we don't have impeachment proceedings already underway is beyond me.
There should be a 24 hour vigil at the White House by all the major news networks to bring us video of the gathering lynch mob of disgusted and pissed off Americans that want to forcibly remove this man from the building. Each evening the scene on CNN should look like something out of an old Frankenstein film with angry torch bearing crowds stopping traffic on Pennsylvania Avenue. Enough is enough and we have certainly come to that point. It's not hysteria, its common sense. We've been betrayed by these people and they continue to lie to us. What's incredible is they keep telling the same lies again and again, no matter that they have long been shown to be lies. It's a completely insane set of circumstances.
I don't believe for a second that what Pat Robertson said was a mistake. His statements quickly put Chavez out there in a negative light for the public to gawk at. What better way to start the ball rolling and create a new bad guy for us to take down in the name of "Terror."
The media is eating it up and Chavez is all over the news. The right wing nuts will now have an excuse to talk about him and tell us why Chavez and his Russian rifles are such a danger to us. They can tell us how Robertson maybe should not have said that but that really he's right. Bushco can begin to roll out their plans for grabbing the reins in another oil rich country that poses no military threat to us.
In these poor countries that are oil rich they often refer to oil as the Devil's Excrement. The contrast between the locals living off a dollar a day and the oil rich ruling regime building a high rise amidst the squalor to flirt with visiting foreign dignitaries in is stunning. The Bushco clowns are soaked in this excrement and you can smell them coming from sea to shining sea. I would think we've reached the point where we all can't take the stink.
