Now, now Cassandra...they were probably special Flood Shoes...and Condi just wants to have a little style when she goes down to N'awleans, for when she wades in the water, trying to help folks or at least reassure them... Now, Flood Shoes at Ferragamo are just a wee bit more pricey, than, say if she got 'em at Wal Mart (er, I mean Mall Wart...). Florsheim might have been a nice compromise. Try to understand.
