My cousin is down there (right now as you read) and it's the worst he's seen - he's a trained EMT and one of the things not being covered so far is how much everyone SMELLS.

Now, imagine wading, at least 5 feet deep with unseen solid objects with nails sticking out, in a mixture of backedupsewer/petroleum products - sifting for human (young and old) bodies (not to mention pets)...and the living who are livid that they're still there and not aboard a Hercules/Hummer/Greyhound transport....He just called me - he's moving to a smaller town to help counter looting...not to be a medic, but a security guard - forgive me - but WTF??????
