With all that's been happening down in the gulf and my still futile attempt to get my head wrapped around it, I completely forgot to say happy birthday to you. I'm guessing though that you weren't thinking about it much on Tuesday either, given the enormity and overwhelming scope of the situation that unfolded that day.
