When Sen. B. Boxer was talking on the Senate floor about studies done about global warming, this moron, Sen. Pete Domenici, piped up that for every study she had about global warming, he could find one in opposition to it and anyone who thinks that global warming is behind the strength and frequency of these hurricanes is "nuts". Hell, it's assholes like this that are truly putting this world in danger - by this I mean by ignoring science and research. Has this idiot looked at photographs of the polar ice caps lately? Or read any of the scientists that have said the strength of hurricanes is dependent on oops, guess what? Yes, warmer ocean water. As for crackpot studies out there, any idiot can say the sky really isn't blue and clouds are made of cotton candy when there are idiot politicians out there that are dumb enough to believe it and put campaign money in their hands so they can build 230 million dollar bridges to nowhere (Sen. T. Stevens of Alaska).
