Running out of gas in a hundred mile traffic jam with four kids and your elderly parents in the car as a hurricane bears down on you is fucked up. Waiting to be rescued on the roof of your house for three days as alligators feast on your neighbors is fucked up.
A little perspective. Maine still sounds like a nice place to me.
