maybe it’ll sound trite...but Welcome to the boomtown is still one of the best songs ever written.  the live version is on repeat...and it NEVER gets tiresome...that sweet Bigsby tremolo & subtle arpeggio intro & outro, the rock-ride and Bukka Allen simulating the tide, ...th’ build-up to crescendo on the floor tom before the chorus and again after the bridge just before the last chorus, ...& that wack-odd timing of the chorus, ... ..weLLLCOME...welcome to the boomtown........
