I love how they captured the period, from the technology to the clothing to the amazing amounts of smoke coming out of everyone's mouths.
Yeah, I loved how they dug up the McCarthy footage and had him portray himself in the film. That was just so awesome and so much more effective than having an actor scowl his way through the part.
Also Krav, Clooney said on most film sets he's been on at the end of each set-up people would be rushing outside to have a cigarette break but on this set they were rushing outside to get a breath of fresh air! HA! Maybe watch this as a double bill with "The Insider" some time when it's out on dvd.
Yeah Lee, I knew there was an award but have never looked up who has received it...probably an interesting list...I will do that. You and Greenie should go and see this film though, I think you'll really dig it. Maybe you have to drive a bit to find someplace showing it up in VT but it's worth it.
I still have not seen Syriana. This time of year the wife and I get invited around to parties, plays, and pagents and it's tough to find a night to catch a flick. Roger, if you see it tell us what you think.
