I saw David on that tour when he came to the Birchmere. The other artists were Freedy Johnston, Johnny Clegg and Lisa Germano. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and after the show I had a chance to speak with both David and Lisa. With regards to David, I was a bit (unnecessarily) awestruck and could only come up with a question about some of the industrial elements of the Triage album. He graciously avoided making me feel like a complete ass. I got to talk to Lisa Germano for about 30 minutes, and she was amazing. The crowd was a bit older, and they seemed to ignore her for the most part. I mentioned my love for her then current album and the fact that I couldn't find her first one anywhere. She took my name and address, and about 2 1/2 months later, a copy arrived in the mail. I was awestruck ...
