On a personal note: 

We’ve toned-down

the gift giving concept

this year just a bit and will

hold vigil this evening & a new

day’s dawning come morning for those

who’ve lost so much in 2005 in earnest lives & livelihood.

[I know the following is an abstract wish reliant on some renaissance of zeal, but....]

Let's hope we can all more clearly see the best intentions of humanity

flourishing in the year, 2006....  Speaking as an American, on an

international forum of good people, I hope the direction of our

American movers & shakers in 2006 serve to inspire a great

state of hope, life, liberty & the pursuit of those fundamental

notions that all people are created equal, & endowed with certain

inalienable rights....  & that 98% are not best if consigned to the poverty line.

This is not a complaint, certainly.  More a prayer.  An American prayer.

Christmas blessings to all the fans of good songwriting;

May your Pleasures Be Many, Your Troubles Be Few....

Boat Drinks for everyone...on a yacht nearest you.....

...or in a pub...or on a deck...or in a dinghy,

for that matter, if we can all fit.  Matters not where.

Just the notion that folks can still be...

Inspired to celebrate the good things;

Certainly stand & deliver on the noble things;

Boldly remain mindful of the potency of benevolence... 

& count our blessings as we find the...inspiration to persevere....

All differences aside, ...there is an energy on this board

...& I’m happy to have stumbled upon it....

Seize the Day, ...as will I try....
