Purchased his debut back in late 2004, based on praise form some UK press/reviews. Was realy surprised when the CD broke the UK market so long after the release. And of course, it's taken awhile for the US market to catch on. I think his story and his pretty boy looks don't hurt his record company's PR campaign either. It's a nice enough CD. Lyrics wear a wee bit thin after repeated listens. Stong vocals. I prefer David Gray, Ed Hardcourt, or Tom Baxter, who he's often compared to.
