Not exactly rock but I highly recommend Bebo Norman who is more contmporary folk/pop type music. His message is subtle but his songwriting skills are mature and beyond his young years. I am not familiar with his new album but I love "10,000 Days" and "Big Blue Sky". http://www.bebonorman.com
