Yep, ...one most certainly must carry on. I live troubled by the direction of the powers that be these days, though, & it matters to me...because I respect my sons...& owe them answers. I want to believe there are leaders of benevolence out there, ...but I also would not put it past the Combine, to coin a phrase used by Kesey’s Chief Bromden, to have built an unsurpassable force of self-interest. If so, ...then our liberty may be spent...& what of our progeny. We certainly did see some bitchin’ times in America, though.

This is a very knowledgeable forum...& one gets the impression it’s a tough clique to penetrate, ...but I’d rather rant mostly unreciprocated posts on a well-informed board than merely pile it on piles of stored journal fodder.
