to this day, i love PG's soundtrack to Last Temptation (Passion; you should own it. it's brilliant), but rented the flick a few years ago and found the dialogue so overwrought and hamfisted that i couldn't even finish the thing. cameos by Bowie and Michael Been couldn't come close to saving that turkey. i do remember Blockbuster Video (and Florida Marlins) owner Wayne Huizenga (sp?) refusing to carry the movie because of his religified objections to the portrayal of Christ. Christ!
