"Svefn-G-Englar" from their second LP, "Agaetis Byrjun" is a good place to start. Just listen to that incredible thick sound from Jonsi's guitar played by Cello Bow. The music ascends to soundscapes I’ve never heard before. Major goosebumps on the back of your neck for nearly an hour afterward. They have yet to match this record, but then again it’s like asking the Beatles to top “Revolver” or U2 to top “The Joshua Tree”.
