I saw the same three as Lee (Crash, GNGL, Syriana) and liked all three of them very much. Crash is the first one that I'd want to see again, but I particularly like movies that put actors outside of their comfort zone.
Crash was contrived, but every movie or TV show that takes place in some Megagopolis is with all the happenstance encounters. I liked how the plot twisted and turned, and really enjoyed the way that it showed people evolving.
What I really want to know is why the hell is Brokeback labeled as a love story? It should be construed as merely another instance where a man shits on his wife for some other love. In this case the co-conspirator just has an outie instead of an innie.
