And here I was thinking about Tungsten 74 a good electro/techno
band, and now this..Prefuse 73. Will give it a click and give you a
book report. Thanks for the tip. Sounds right up my alley.

Post-scriptum: What I downloaded so far sounded only
moderately annoying. Not
electronica at all, but hip/hop DJ stuff with loops, loops, loops.
Unless I got the wrong site or something. Maybe the new CD is
different. As for IDM...leave out the "D" part. It's not danceable.
I'll pass.
Now for something truly amazing do listen to Unkindness of
Ravens. (Go to CD baby and download 'em. Now that is something
very original. Cocorosie is probably a distant cousin of these
guys). And while you're there, check out Masuran. Their first CD
is too brief unfortunately, but I Emailed them, and much to my
delight they replied and said they are working on a new one. Small
truly Indie label called Portable Phonograph or something like that.
