Icon Terry Allen/ Buddy Rich tribute

Here are a couple of pretty awesome albums, one that I just discovered and one I've had for years. I'd love to hear any comments from any of you that have heard them.

Terry Allen - Salivation          I didn't know anything about him until someone mentioned on this board that Bukka's dad was a musician, followed shortly thereafter by his mention in an article where he helped DB after his car was stolen or broken down. Anyway, the album is awesome! His voice sounds to me kinda of like John Hiatt, but a totally different songwriting style. Guess I need to get the rest of his library now - Will and Charlie Sexton play on some of them, and of course Bukka as well.

The second is the Burning for Buddy - A Tribute to Buddy Rich compilation. Neil Peart of Rush produced it. 18 almost exclusively instrumental songs with some of the best drummers in the world along with buddy's old band. Turn "Dancing Men" up to 11 and all is well.
