tried to write a guitar song with a cat in the Mojave Desert once who said:  As a guitar player, he can’t stand Neil Young because he hasn’t furthered his craft.  What a pain-in-the-ace that nutlamp was.  ...While he was noodling all up and down the neck like...Ingwe Malmsteen...striking a pose...I was thinking about the last time we saw Neil...sitting on a stage...like it was his own fckn living room...with a few guitars...a banjo...harps in several keys...& a coupl’a pianos...inspiring thousands of people with troubadour virtuosity and a falsetto with rock-perfect pitch & vibrato...after so many years of bad sound systems and smoky Canadian pubs........Furthered his craft?   Sheeez, ...what a trip!
