Yes. My hotel was Sebel Pier One, adjacent to the Rocks. I picked the area specifically, because it looked like a beautiful historic area with nice restaurants and pubs and close to the Quay.  It worked out well.  My hotel room window was right at the base of the bridge.

I was able to walk to the Quay, Museum and Opera House. There are a bunch of fine restaurants all around the quay, but the service was terrible in general. 

Had my first Aussie beer at a pub in Bondi.  Victoria Bitter.  Decent, but certainly not the best.  My number one pick by far was Cooper's Sparkling Ale.  I cannot get it here, but there's a distributor who imports it to California.   Does this mean I'll have to go all the way back to Australia to have some again???
