I thought our family's super8 mm tapes from the late '60s and early '70s were forever gone until a few weeks ago when my brother found them with some of his things.   I don't know that I'd ever even seen these before although I knew of their existence.  We've got plenty of photographs from those days but it's not the same as seeing video.  I don't think we mugged for the still photos quite as much as we did for the moving ones.
