I know which recording you are referring to Krav...and if it's Bloodline, it wasn't him singing. I thought the singer on that album sucked greatly. He "only" played guitar in that band. But on his new stuff he is doing the vocals (I didn't even know he could sing), and holy cow...I was knocked out. That being said, he does have a very commercially "accessible" voice, kind of in the vein of Michael Macdonald, some Stevie Ray-ish, or (god forbid) Michael Bolton-esque...so that might turn some folks off, but it was powerful, and I thought very soulful.
