Icon A Fine Mess on ebay, and how do I send DB a check?

Hey everyone,

I used to frequent this board a little bit, but I haven't been around in a long, long time. I'm glad to see it's still here, and still talking about both politics and music.

In any case, I am back for a couple reasons. #1, to let anyone who is interested know that I am selling my copy of A Fine Mess, one of the original numbered, cardboard 2 CD sets that were birthed on this site and in DB's head so long ago. It's going up on ebay starting tomorrow night, to find a new home since I am about to start a long stretch of seeing the world and disowning all possessions except for a backpack, some clothes, a camera, and an ipod (of course). I have no idea if these are still sought after, but I know at one time they were selling for a lot of money. I'm not letting this one go cheap (sorry) but for the right price, it's a better use of resources to let me have the cash to see some of the world and let someone else put this on their CD stash.

Which brings me to reason #2 I'm here. Assuming that someone buys this thing, and in the interest of good karma, etc, I'd like to know where I can send David a check for part of the take. David, if you happen to see this, and are so inclined, send me an email to stephenpruitt(@)earthlink.net and let me know. Considering that I didn't discover you till after you'd recorded a lot of your records, and I consequently ended up buying them used, I owe you at least some beer money for all the times I've turned up the volume and let the cicular saw from "The Waiter" slash through the entire apartment building.

I'll be around until the end of July, and then I'm on the road. After that, that email address will be dead, but I'll be online in another form, creating a website about the people who are doing good in the world. Eventually it will have photos, interviews and stories about the guys dismantling the landmines, the doctors working in Africa, and other people getting their hands dirty making things right. The site isn't up yet, but it will be in the next couple weeks.

That's all for now. Take care, everyone.
