When I heard this story mentioned I thought he knocked Mr Ed out, ala Ahnald taking care of that camel in the Conan movie. That clip depicted barely a love tap. What the heck does that jockey have to apologize for? Let's not forget that a rider whips the mount during every race - and they shoot 'em if they get a broken bone.
