But the artist better get a majority of the money! Fat chance! the record labels will most likely get their greedy paws in on it. It will most likely, not benifit the artist as much as their label and Clear Channel. I say, let the fans record the shows. If they want to make bootleg copies, pay the artists/songwriters on the side.

Another thing, what happens if an artist performs a cover version, does that mean it will be deleated from the CD until it has cleared legal approval? I love it when a artist performs a cover or two in concert. Hell!, in fact, I can see it now. Every time a artists performs another artist's song live, they will have to pay royalties to the songwriter and I'm sure somehow, the major record labels will try to get their hands in on that cash as well!

I better stop, I'm getting depressed!
