My "smugness" in regards to where I think our nation should be in how we deal with our friends and enemies will not diminish. I believe in our constitution, bill of rights and the separation of powers. I will protest and fight any instance where those things are changed through backdoor means.  
So give me one example of you or anyone you know that have had their right infringed upon in the post Bush world? It is obvious why Bush brought this up just months before the mid-terms but you can't argue that they were successful with the interrogation techniques they were using

In my eyes, Bush has equal credibility with Al Jazeera. Why on Earth would I believe a word either of them has to say?
So if you don't trust Bush, then who would you trust with the National Security of the United States?
