Multi-platform sweepstakes gives away five GM Vehicles
New York, NY – (September 19, 2006) – Today it was announced that General Motors and Sean Hannity are teaming up to give listeners an unprecedented opportunity to win five vehicles in the “You’re A Great American Car Give-Away” sweepstakes on The Sean Hannity Show. A unique twist to the sweepstakes allows winners to pick the car they win.
As someone who buys American and is connected to its pulse, the partnership with GM is a natural fit for Hannity. “GM has always represented what America is about; hard work, outstanding values and of course commitment to excellence,” said Hannity. “I have tremendous respect for GM and their outstanding team. This is a huge win for listeners and for radio.”
The contest employs an integrated, multi-platform strategy, using radio and Hannity’s website, http://www.hannity.com, which has 28 million page views a month.

The Sean Hannity Show is syndicated by ABC Radio Networks on over 500 radio stations and is heard in 50 out of the top 50 markets. All affiliates nationwide will be able to participate in the promotion.

Contest Execution
The sweepstakes will be announced on Monday, September 25, 2006. Listeners will be directed to http://www.hannity.com beginning Thursday, September 28, to register their names for the car giveaway of the week. The following Monday, Hannity will announce a contestant’s name per hour. Listeners will have until 6:00a.m. the next morning to send the Hannity program an e-mail to confirm they’ve heard their name. At week’s end, there will be 15 qualifiers for that week’s car. The winner will be announced from those 15 qualifiers the next Monday. The same process will be executed for consecutive weeks to give away the remaining cars.
Winners will have three cars to choose from each week. Winner options range from Cadillac Escalade to Chevrolet Corvette. The official selection list of vehicles is confidential.
