Y'know who I have been disappointed with lately? Bill Murray. It seems that every film he does these days is basically him sitting on a couch somewhere, hands in his lap, staring out like a depressaholic. And yes, he may get up and walk about in the film itself, but that image still seems to haunt his performance.
Is he going for that "serious actor" bit of chic? (Or is it tongue-in-chic?) I mean . . . the guy used to be pretty funny! I'm not saying I want him to be my monkey, but on the other hand, is the "new" BM really breaking ground, or is he just sitting on a couch somewhere, hands in his lap, staring out like a depressaholic?
On yet another hand, I'll ask myself: do we really need another Ghost Busters? Probably not.
I'll be off now.
