your interpretation of these lyrics are incorrect. the true lyrics can be heard without instrumentation on the Jimi Hendrix Experience box set that was released in 2000.

third stone is over nine minutes long on this disc, and all of the disputed lyrics are heard without anything obscuring them.

one thing you got wrong is the opening tranmission. the real transmission line is:

"Starfleet to Scout Ship, please give your position, over."

here are the real lyrics (good try, though, just not right)

Star fleet to scout ship, please give your position. Over. 

I'm in orbit around the third planet from the star called the sun. Over.
You mean its the Earth? Over.
