my favorites from the SF march:

'if war is inevitable, draft SUV drivers first'

'now where are those weapons my daddy sold 'em?'

'shhh! be vewy vewy quiet - we're hunting awabs (huh huh huh huh)'

'have some more pretzels, you fucker' (with pretzels glued to sign)

and the ever direct

'die you fucking bush'

although i give honorable? mention to the three dozen counter-protestors cordoned off in front of City Hall, one of whom had a huge sign that said, simply,

'FRY MUMIA'

i didn't quite get that one in the context of the day, but you gotta love what's left o' that there ol' First Amendment.
