If you would recall the reaction to the Black Sox scandal you'd understand why baseball is where it is with Rose. Nothing hypocritcal there. McGwire and co. aren't eligible for the Hall yet, and many thing they may go years without getting in or may not get it at all. Bonds would be the only shoo-in, but he would have been deserving for his pre-Juicing stats alone.
And Kravitz, give me a break. Delgado's decision to protest or not is his alone. Or do you presume to speak for his conscience as well as your own? Had Delgado continued to make an issue of the war, he would have just been saddled with the "loony left" label reserved for practically all of Hollywood. It wouldn't have made much difference at all. It's our elected leaders who ought to be taken to task, not Carlos Delgado.
