I tuned in to Rush today and heard some comments on the MJFx episode:
Basically as I see it Fox was used as a political pawn during the the closeout to the takeover of the house and senate by the Dem's. I like Fox, like his movies and I think he is a standup guy. He made statements that while not factually in-correct were misleading about said candiates and their stance on "Alternative Stem Cell Research"
Said candidates in Missouri believe in Stem Cell research just not "Embryonic" research.

Also the bigger question on this is why there is no private companies investing in this research? Why does the government "have" to get involved at all? The answer to that question is what triggered Rush Limbaugh response.  That is the black and white of it.
