Well, it was a stupid comment, but not the reason he couldn't be a candidate again. I do agree with ya' though, Kervo, I think he should step aside. If he couldn't win the last time (when the cards were about the same), he'd be wasting big money and time trying to run again. That being said, I don't think we are going to see a Democrat elected as president in the next election. They may pick up some seats this November though, so that will be interesting to watch. I am quite convinced that most of these election antics are a smoke screen, and it won't matter whether Democrats or Republicans rule the land. The agenda (including Iraq) is unlikely to change. "Higher" powers have decided the course for this country, and while I don't pretend to know what/who those powers may be, the decisions are certainly not just coming from GW Bush and associates.
