Interesting.  I don't know anything about his politics, but he sure can play the hell outa that guitar.  I was always a fan of Orleans when they were happening, and I like the record he did in 1981 with The John Hall Group (features the song Crazy and this really beautiful tune called Earth Out Tonight about a guy on the moon looking back at his home planet).  If he gets elected, he'd be the first official rock star in Congress; second if you include Sonny Bono under the rubric of "rock star".
