Re-read the sentence you cut from my earlier post-------it says nothing about the Grammy's being a bastion of free expression or free speach----MUSIC is. Hell, I don't think anyone on this board would agree that the Grammy's are in the practice of honoring the best music of a given year.

However, the hypocrisy and terrible contradiction is that of a bunch of asshole empty suits are telling muscians to curtail their free speech. I seem to remember last year that no one gave a shit when one of the empty suits got up and droned on about MP3s and the internet. (And I would bet that these same empty suits could give a shit some kid is taking money out of the hands of the creative artist - all they care about are their own pockets).
