Made it safely home this afternoon, though as you know "afternoon", "mealtimes", and "normalcy" all take a few days to sort themselves out after nineteen hours in transit. My body thinks it's tomorrow already.

The writer William Gibson says that your soul cannot travel at jet speed and that whenever you cross the oceans and multiple time zones by plane it takes the soul a couple of days to catch up.
