The pendulum has swung too far toward intolerance against genuine religious freedom.

I don't think this is an accurate interpretation or valid conclusion to draw. I think this maggot needs to separate out an intolerance against religious freedom from an unwillingness to want to be forcefully exposed to endure other people's religious expression (as well as possibly unconsciously wanting to reject a religion that clearly hasn't worked - remember those queues of homeless vagrants messy spoke about and Pat's response). There's something in the Christian psyche which loves identifying with being persecuted and sadly misses the point that the fundamental premise of Christianity is to be able to tolerate enormous amounts of oppression and continue to forgive. (I can see this all going over Christians heads...). Why do I bother? 

Actually Green you're right the world is out to get you and to marginalise Christianity...though I prefer myself to call it karma coming home to roost.
