Looks like Jon Stewart did a friend a favor: had Tenacious D on the show…maybe spark a little interest in their movie. …Instead of just sitting there moaning about how their flick bombed in the theaters, they might have taken the stage and performed a [voice of Jack Black] ‘kickass!’ rendition of Tribute; that might have kindled a flicker of hope.
But no, all that wherewithal at their fingertips…& they opt instead for a sophomoric & trite display of solitude? Sad. Really sad; almost Kelly Osbourne sad. [sorry Ozzy]
