Hey c'mon - like the commercial - you be the MAC - I'll be the PC...you can have the hot chick..My point was (and it's not snobby) is that AOL used to offer everything back in the day - but once you figured out the internets - well, hell, why use AOL..Macs offer an ease of use that you won't find on PC's - what with all their *@#$ security updates...and memory hogging anti-spyware, anti-virus and disk defraggin'.Whenever anyone asks me what they should buy - I always answer it with another question 'what do you want to do with it'...the new chipset on Macs closes the gap - slapping hardware in and out of them has been an issue in the past - but, frankly - you can buy 1 terabyte external hard drives - split'em - and run both OS's from a Mac. Not to mention Linux....We use Pro Tools at work - I used it to record the weekend weather forecast...I need to hone up on Adobe After Effects...it's cross platform - but it runs better on an Intel Chipset...As far as Office goes - Google offers a very good alternative...As far as 'here we go again' - you're a nerd, I'm a PC.Nanafufu! ;)(that's right - I said it)
