[FWIW, then I’ll certainly concede to the winds…]

My son’s lead singer is always leaving this Canadian Seagull laying around the house, here, because he thinks it’s a piece of crap and can’t get any music out of it.  Well he can’t get any music out of it because he is too focused on his cell phone to learn how to TUNE it.  If he’d Fackin tune it, he’d see that it has beautiful depth of tone and slightly better than not bad action;  …it’s certainly a guit-box that could accompany his voice…which also would be a whole helova lot less aggravating if he took the time to learn how to tune IT as well. 

So a guitar that feels groovy in your hands and…frets pretty smooth…& keeps a tune…for far longer than a few strums (My ‘85 Alvarez stays in tune] should serve your inspiration nicely.  If we were neighbors, I’d let you use this perfectly good Canadian Seagull…& tell …the “singer” that I put it in the shop to get the bow out of the neck for him.
