I take it that there is a standard format that all television composers follow. Obviously a theme song, with snippets used between scene changes, or during dramatic moments, and one for the credits as they roll? I'm guessing lyrics are out of the question. Are you examining successful television music from the past and present to guide you? Do you have to prepare additional pieces in the event the series is successful? Is this more pressure than a movie soundtrack? Might it be more profitable?
