The ride is a "tradition" I have created, at least for the past 2 years (count 'em).  It is in memory of a dear, though feathered friend, my late, great budgie, Boo.  He lived with me, and 2 wives (his, not mine) for just over 10 years, so we went through a lot of changes together, not to mention moves and jobs. He died suddenly just before the first ride, which I was planning to do anyways, but thereafter decided to dedicate in his name...The Boo Memorial Century (100 miles on the C and O).

The ride takes place in mid to late October. Plenty of beautiful foliage.  The first year, the weather was spectacular, and it has gotten more gnarly each year since.  Last year, was, indeed wet and cold...though still beautiful.

Yes, by all means..join "us" for this years event.  Should be mid-October.  Will go from either Williamsport MD, to Georgetown DC or... Cumberland, MD to Shepherdstown WV (Dan's favored route).  I will send Emails to all interested nearer the time, and also for a spring ride if we do that.  With the weather we've been having, I am definitely looking forward to SPRING. 

That's when I get my Anthony Williams CD out, with the same title, and play it ....LOUDLY.
