"So" or "US" ? I don't mean to start an argument here, but just like Bruce's latest, was "UP" any better then what the artist has already produced ten years ago?

Rant not withstanding I will try to answer with my personal oppinion ;-)

For one thing it has BEEN nearly 10 years since PG made an album in his own name.

Furthermore I belong to those that think that an album of the year ought to have a defining concept, hence I dont think that "So" is an "album of the year - It has a number of great songs, but no apparent logic or order to it as such - Doesnt mean I dont like it :-) For further explanations of what I mean I refer to this review from epinions http://www.epinions.com/content_81340370564 Obviously Im not as critical as he is... :-)

That said I would also rate Coldplay high on my list...
