bush should have factored the affect/role the media would play in the outcome and he apparently didn't do that...that's his fault. to deny that the media plays any sort of role in the outcome is being a bit ignorant wouldn't you agree? it's the nature of the beast but again...bush should have taken that into account. do you think the insurgents feed off of the dropping favorable opinion of the war held by the american people? of course they do. do you not think that the media with its constant drip of negative reporting effects people's view of the war? that's all i'm saying.

i supported going into iraq for a host of reasons. i don't see that we can up and leave so easily. once you support something like this i think you can't just change your mind because it's not going well. i don't have the answers, Reg but i trust that those in positions of power have them...or let's say i used to trust that they had the answers.
