Frankie Lane has passed, but he lived a very full and long life. Of all the tunes he wrote or co-wrote my fav is "We'll be Together
Again". It is often a Jazz standard; exquisite, nice melody. I recall Lenny Bruce had a joke about him sometime ago...Pat Martino has a very sweet guitar instrumental version of this
tune, but I might put it on "Eugene's Greatest Hits Vol II", 'cause I
also love the lyrics. Probably David should do it on his Cocktail
Jazz album...the one with him in the white tuxedo overlooking
