I clearly haven't been following this as closely as you, and I can guess with reasonable certainty what your hopeful outcome might be, but here's my take for what it's worth.
I've served on three petit juries and one grand jury and I can tell you this. When someone is accused of a crime that you have to convict on or not, you take it very seriously. Especially in the case of a grand jury. He's up on five felonies and that means prison for sure if convicted. But the prosecutor at least got it by a grand jury (only hears felonies), and that's saying something.
The problem is though, maybe the defense was compelling enough that this jury isn't so sure. And I can tell you that it does not bode well for a Prosecutor to get that far and have a petit jury deliberate for so long.
Remember that the prosecutor's grand jury never got to hear any defensive argument.
