Yeah, I admit it was a very bad choice on my part to start that thread on the kids in Texas. I should not have done that. It was a horrible topic all the way around. I apologize to the entire board for exposing them to that disaster.

I'm taking the doctor's advice...Gene is right...I'm giving it a rest. For whatever it's worth, Pat, I will no longer attempt to engage you on any political topic. I knew that was the case when I was writing that anyway. I've got no more cards to show you, after the child rape thing...after that...what more is there to say.

It's not a personal thing and I'm not going to block your posts or stop talking to you...it's just on the political side I think you and I have gone as far as we can. I'll talk politics here but I think it's best if we do it with other people. I know you can't make someone see something just by showing them the facts because even a fact requires the willingness of the individual to believe and trust that fact. Without that what is a fact? Human beings are wired to run on faith, I think, more than fact. This would explain all of the worlds religions.

You are right, we all need to come together on this stuff, Pat, and I have no allegiance to the Democrats or Republicans. In all honesty we owe them nothing. They work for us, they are public servants, they owe us, we elected them, we gave them their jobs. None of my interests are partisan...I just want to do what's best.
