That makes a lot of sense, though I think she'd be well advised to be concerned about Obama, and
Edwards, too, for that matter, if only for the reason that theyre going to be debating, and Edwards will
probably be asking some pretty tough questions. Hillary's position on the war is pretty hard to
understand, even when you pore over her speeches. She's pretty exposed there. What I mean is, that
position, or lack thereof is sort of mooning us out the back window of a Hummer filled with football
players on prom night, whooping and hollering and throwing firecrackers. Like, its pretty hard to
ignore. I think this will probably be a pretty civil primary, but... well, theyre gonna be debating. And
she's gonna get hammered. Gently, probably, but she's gonna get hammered. I think Gore's chances,
should he choose to run, are pretty damn good. But, whatever happens, I think its a pretty fine crop
we've got this year. I'd like to see Gore/Clark, myself, but that's just me. Whoever wins better give
that guy an important job of some kind, though. Secretary of Defense, State Dept, Director of
Homeland Security... And get Richard Clarke and Joe Wilson back into government. Pat Fitzgerald as
Head of FBI, or Attorney General, even. Ah this is fun! Like fantasy baseball or something.
