Btw David. If you do have an isolated spot, do humanity a favor and grow a nice breed of corn, keeping half of it back every season. Never plant it all. Encourage your friends to preserve other varieties. This GMO crap is infecting everything in its vicinity. Heirloom varieties of corn, among other staple crops, are becoming rarer with every season.

We may not be able to put the genie back in the bottle but perhaps with a little luck, when this stuff becomes ubiquitous some defect in it with sweep through the modified variety destroying it and humanity can begin to rebuild the stable varieties. They taste better too.
